Mentoring Programme
Welcome to the Info Latinos Mentoring Program. This free program is designed to facilitate the integration and personal growth of the Latin American community in the United Kingdom, focusing on improving language use and adapting to life in a new environment.
What is the history of the program?
The Info Latinos Mentoring Program was launched four years ago as the Buddies program, and has since evolved significantly. We are proud to present this program, which has been continually improved to offer our participants more effective and personalized support.
How many participants have benefited from the program?
Throughout our previous editions, more than 150 participants have received comprehensive and free support through our mentoring program, experiencing improvements in their social and professional integration and language skills.
Who is the program aimed at?
The program is aimed at Latin Americans who reside in the United Kingdom and seek to improve their integration and personal growth. It is especially useful for those who are new to the country and need support to adapt to their new environment, overcome challenges, and achieve personal and professional goals.
How are participants selected?
The Info Latinos Mentoring Program is highly selective. Every six months, we select 20-25 participants who will receive personalized support. Our goal is to offer an environment of trust and mutual respect, where people can learn and grow.
How does the program work?

Pairing: Each participant is paired with an experienced, bilingual mentor, who offers support, guidance and friendship.

Weekly Sessions: Participants are expected to dedicate 1 hour per week to meetings with their mentor.

Events and Workshops: In addition to individual sessions, participants are encouraged to attend scheduled events and workshops.
When does it start?
The program takes place twice a year, in March and October. Registration opens in February and September, providing regular access to this transformative initiative.
Promoting Equality of Experience:
We strongly believe in a peer-to-peer approach between participants and volunteers in our program. We foster an environment where both parties help and learn from each other. We value the diversity of experiences and knowledge each individual brings, creating a supportive community based on respect and collaboration.
